Telecommunications & Media

Historically Crowe Expertiza has lots of experience in telecommunications. Back in 1996 the company began cooperating with one of the pioneers of alternative communications in Russia, Combellga, and in 1998 the company signed a contract with VessoLink CJSC, the first paging company in Russia.

2000 saw the company sign its first contracts with subsidiaries of Svyazinvest OJSC: Moscow region Electronic Communications, Tulatelecom, Uraltelecom, Yekaterinburg Telephone Network, Electronic Communications of Novosibirsk region, Krasnoyarsk Krai Electronic Communications, Republic of Buryatiya Electronic Communications, Khabarovsk Krai Electronic Communications, Magadan Information and Communications, Sakhalin Communications, OJSC Kamchatka Information and Communications, TTK of Jewish AR, Amur Communications and others, a big contract that would later be expanded to include Far Eastern Communications and CentreTeleCom.

The experience the company had gained by 2003 allowed the company to win in an open bidding for a contract with one of the largest players in the Russian telecommunications market VimpelCom, a deal that kept going for 13 years.

Other companies that Crowe Expertiza cooperated with for many years in this sector include Sky Link and Sinterra groups of companies, Rostelecom Group as well as T-Systems CIS, Deutsche Telecom and City Telecom.

A special niche for Crowe Expertiza in the telecommunications industry is Gazprom Space Systems, a company that operates its own constellation of satellites. In the international market OJSC Gazprom Space Systems positions itself as a satellite operator while in Russia the company also provides telecommunications and geo-information services.

Meanwhile, taking into account the modern trends towards the emergence of a single information space, today people are increasingly talking about information communications, which, in addition to communications companies also include media companies.

Crowe Expertiza also has a lot of experience in this field; our clients here include such companies as National Communications, National Media Group (which includes REN-TV Media Holding) and Media Platform Group.
